Colette Stroud
Colette qualified as a solicitor in 1986 and over the last 23 years has gained considerable experience in family law.
Colette believes that every person she acts for should keep control and have choice about how their case progresses. Whilst you may feel that you do not have choice about your situation, you do have choices about how you deal with it and what choices you can make which will affect the rest of your life.
Colette trained further as a collaborative family lawyer in 2007, which enables her to work with you, your partner and your partner's lawyer in a series of face-to-face meetings to help you all resolve matters relating to children, finances or the family home, for example.
Colette is inspired by the fact that 90% of collaborative law cases managed this way are settled without the need to go to court and she has a strong ambition to see that even more cases be resolved using this method.

Now a particularly stressful episode of my life is over I am able to reflect back on past events in a different light and realise how fortunate I am.
